Our award winning and best in class solutions have a high potential to expand beyond standard solutions. We are looking for a strong and passionate leader to drive and develop our solutions team. Appway’s solutions team is part of Sales and responsible for the targeting and definition of our business-specific solutions. As the Head of Solutions Consulting & Marketing at Appway, you will be a go-to-market leader playing a critical role in helping our prospects understand the business value of Appway. You will own the solutions demand-generation side and manage the consulting team providing all the subject matter expertise needed for consulting-oriented as well as technical pre-sales activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Solutions Consulting

  • Be responsible for a team of approximately 4+ Solutions consultants based in Switzerland and North America and a portfolio of accounts assigned to your team
  • Propose technical and business solutions in support of sales campaigns and provide domain expert resources of proposed solutions to prospective clients
  • Assist the sales team with the expand strategy into target accounts by building customer relationships
  • Be responsible for a world-class execution of both business as well as technical presales activities to drive sales success
  • Partner up with marketing leads, sales managers and sellers to drive and achieve demand generation and sales targets through direct contribution and team leadership
  • Review customers’ strategic business roadmaps to identify and nurture opportunities
  • Drive and deliver RFIs, RFPs, and PoCs
  • Secure positive decision of prospective clients by identifying concrete needs, defining and explaining outstanding value proposition, combining strong Financial Services expertise with concrete knowledge of our products and success stories, functional demonstrations and methodology presentations
  • Create sales enablement tools to improve sales productivity

Solutions Marketing

  • Together with a team of approximately 4+ Solutions Marketeers you drive awareness and demand for Appway’s award-winning FSI solutions globally
  • Own Appway’s FSI-specific messaging and storytelling and together with your team act as influencers and evangelists to customers
  • Target, define and build businesses-specific digital transformation solutions as the primary go-to- market for Appway’s products
  • Generate by creating content for marketing campaigns, blogs, newsletters, webinars, joining physical events and roundtables and promoting Appway through social media channels
  • Partner with other sales leaders to support go-to-market plans for each region



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Math, Business Management, Computer Science or equivalent background
  • 7-10 years' experience in the area of consulting/selling technology solutions
  • Specialized experience in the FSI, particularly in the client, compliance and operations related workflows
  • Inspiring and proven leader who has grown and managed functional teams
  • Proven track record of being both strategic and operational to scale businesses
  • Demonstrated success dealing with ambiguity in a high growth environment
  • Exceptional cross-functional leader and collaborator
  • Willing to travel
