We are looking for a creative, passionate, and well-rounded industry marketer (blend of business consulting, enterprise software sales and solution marketing) to join the Solutions Marketing team at Appway. Our mission in Solutions Marketing is to bridge the gap between technology and business needs with powerful industry messaging and fit-for-purpose solutions for Financial Services. This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with many other functions to build demand.

As a Solution Marketing Director at Appway, you will guide messaging, content and go-to-market programs for Appway’s award-winning software solutions for Financial Services businesses in EMEA. You will work with sales, marketing, and our customers to build awareness, drive demand generation and develop sales enablement programs that help achieve pipeline goals. You will also plan, revise, and coordinate thought leadership content through editorials, blogs, white papers, industry, and partner events.

Your impact:

  • Research, develop and execute EMEA Financials Services specific business plans including market sizing, addressable market opportunity, win/loss analysis, customer requirements, competitive positioning
  • Lead and manage industry solutions launches for Financials Services in EMEA
  • Develop messaging and content that articulate business benefits and outcomes, capabilities, differentiating value, and solutions for Financial Services with clear business focus
  • Partner with marketing team to develop targeted campaigns for business leaders and technical practitioners
  • Drive and manage the creation of targeted content to create awareness including infographics, eBooks, articles, blogs, videos, webinars, and other customer-facing materials.
  • Work with customers to build compelling content for high-profile speaking engagements, customer case studies, videos, and brand campaigns
  • Research customer and market trends to help inform content development and enablement
  • Work with industry SMEs to build sales tools, enablement, and training e.g., sales plays, sales presentations, battlecards, and prospecting templates.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive awareness, generate demand, and drive business growth

 

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in marketing enterprise software for Banking and Financial Services in EMEA – this is a must-have!
  • Proven track record in managing and driving the creation multi-faceted marketing and sales enablement material – this is a must-have!
  • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing or industry marketing for an enterprise software or SaaS company
  • Customer-facing experience with personas like business analysts and business executives like CEO’s, COO’s, compliance and operations managers, technology leaders such as CDO's, CTO's, CIO's
  • Portfolio of impactful messaging, content, and sales enablement materials
  • Experience presenting at conferences/seminars and customer engagements
  • BS in Marketing or Computer Science, Engineering, coupled with relevant professional experience, MBA, or advanced degree a plus
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate closely with marketing colleagues
  • An entrepreneurial drive, work ethic and attention to details
  • Ability to prioritize in a results-driven, collaborative environment
  • Aptitude for technology and ability to connect technical concepts with customer value
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
