For our Pre-Sales Solution Architect position, we are looking for a passionate evangelist of our people and product solutions, with a financial services background, strong knowledge of complex enterprise software solutions, and solid business-to-business sales acumen.

  • You have a history of accountability for delivering convincing value proposition for enterprise clients in the financial services space, securing buy-in of senior business and technical decision makers  

  • You have strong technical and presentation skills, especially in the area of complex software systems to drive digital transformation programs in the financial services space

Main Responsibilities:  

  • Present product offerings and architecture to prospects and customers. Remove all technical objections in the sales cycle and instill confidence in our customers’ ability to implement Appway products  

  • Develop a technical sales strategy and effectively demonstrate the solutions that will make a big impact on our customers’ businesses  

  • Partner up with seller to achieve defined sales targets by securing positive decisions of senior business and technical decision makers  

  • Influence and consult our prospects by combining strong Financial Services expertise with outstanding technical knowledge, functional demonstrations and methodology presentations   

  • Drive, contribute and facilitate delivery of RFIs, RFPs, Solution Proposals and POCs  

  • Represent Appway’s products at field events and conferences   

  • Provide bold thought leadership to improve Appway’s offering and positioning  

  • Empower our partners’ teams with both sales and technical competencies, so that they can be successful in the market by keep partners up to date with product and technical knowledge and market differentiators demos  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent background   

  • 4+ years of consultative sales experience in mid-size to large organizations in the financial services industry  

  • Understanding of customer-facing pre-sales or consulting role with a core strength in either process automation, workflow, BPM, case management or designing complex enterprise digital transformation projects advantageous  

  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer/architect with responsibility for designing complex systems, preferably in the BPM / case management area  

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS, Cloud or similar industries  

  • Willingness to travel to client locations in Europe  

  • Business fluent in English and German (other language is a plus)
