SEO Manager

You will be part of the Marketing & Communications team at Appway and will play a key role in working with insights and data gathered from various marketing data sources. You will be focused on optimizing search marketing efforts and monitoring competitive search and keyword trends to identify additional opportunities for growth.  

You are goal-oriented and possess an exceptional attention to detail with good communication skills. Your expertise in analysing SEO data and ability to identify problems and use tools to understand trends better will make you stand out from the crowd.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Analyse and optimize web pages for the best organic performance

  • Lead On-page, Off-page, and Content optimization efforts

  • Evaluate and recommend SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Keyword tracking tools, Heatmaps, Data Studio and Tableau

  • Analyse web traffic analytics and generate reports to help business units understand trends and patterns in traffic and SEO  

  • Prepare presentations to inform the team


Requirements:  

  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Analytics, web development, SEO

  • Strong understanding of user analytics, SEO, and Organic Search

  • Strong analytical proficiency and knowledge using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Search Console and Page speed Insights

  • Knowledge of basic web design principles and technologies and their SEO implications

  • Technical SEO on-page web skills including XML, HTML / CSS, JavaScript, Meta Data

  • Experience with web scraping for SEO and content analysis is a plus  

  • You enjoy data visualization and making large sets of data more digestible

  • You can identify growth opportunities and draw recommendations with great storytelling skills

  • Detail-oriented, enjoy the nitty-gritty of preparing regular and ad-hoc reporting

  • Be up to date with current and upcoming SEO and content marketing trends

  • Able to work remotely and independently while still coordinating with teams and peers across the globe

  • Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
